            This image was taken on the Inishowen Peninsula, Ireland and depicts one of my favorite fetishes known in some circles as “decay porn”. I find a sullen beauty, or what I call a gray accord in such places. Again, and again I seek out these forgotten relics and capture their reluctant return to the earth. The crumbling walls, the overgrowth of ivy slowly swallowing the rubble. What draws me here over and over? I believe it’s the hope that I might seize even the slightest glimpse of the lost memories from those who once called these places home.
